The tool shows 5 shapes for each chord type, each in a different fretboard position.
Check the number in the fret window (middle of the card) for the starting fret.
"0" indicates an open position, starting from the nut.
Vertical lines = strings.
Horizontal lines = frets.
Black dots = finger placement.
"R" = root note (gives the chord its name).
Important: If dots appear on the ‘0’ fret, don’t press those strings - the nut is doing the work. The dots simply show which strings are played in the chord.
