Step 1: Select the key

Turn the inner wheel until it shows the key.

Step 2: Pick the Chord Type

Choose from the top row: MAJ, MIN, 7, MAJ7, M7, DIM7.

Step 3: Choose a chord shape

• The tool shows 5 shapes for each chord type, each in a different fretboard position.

• Check the number in the fret window (middle of the card) for the starting fret.

• "0" indicates an open position, starting from the nut.

Step 4: Play the chord!

• Vertical lines = strings.

• Horizontal lines = frets.

• Black dots = finger placement.

• "R" = root note (gives the chord its name).

Important: If dots appear on the ‘0’ fret, don’t press those strings - the nut is doing the work. The dots simply show which strings are played in the chord.
